Part time Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager Extraordinaire
DanceAUS Group Pty Ltd is South Australia's largest dance school network and is growing nationally!
We are looking for a Part-time Bookkeeper/Accounts Manager to join the DanceAUS Group team.
This role will suit an individual with advanced knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts and Australian tax regulations.
Whilst ensuring all of the role requirements are met, there is flexibility in the starting and finishing times. Three days a week will be at our head office in Woodville Park, South Australia, with the option to work off-site outside of these hours.
This position will commence in January 2018.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
  • Accounts Payable - ensuring all supplier invoices are approved by authorised persons, inputting invoices into Xero, arranging supplier payments according to credit terms
  • Arranging ad-hoc payments if and when required
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts
  • Processing of payroll into Xero along with reconciliation of payroll and tax control accounts
  • Generating invoices for all clients on a scheduled basis
  • Processing payment authorisation forms
  • Cash banking and reconciliation
  • Answering and resolving customer enquiries regarding their accounts
  • Processing payments and scheduling payment plans
  • Liaising with staff regarding their pay and working entitlements
  • Dealing with any other bookkeeping tasks if and when required
  • Working closely with the Director to ensure that tasks are completed by strict deadlines ready for the production of the monthly management accounts
  • Liaising with the external Accountants to ensure that they have all required data in order to prepare GST returns and BAS statements
     
As a successful applicant, you will have:
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Advanced computer literacy skills, including comprehensive knowledge of computer programs such as Xero, Office 365 and Google Drive
  • Proven customer service skills with the ability to identify and address customer concerns in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful nature
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and manage your time effectively
  • A meticulous eye for detail
  • A willingness to work as part of an enthusiastic and motivated team

Dance Teacher / Inspiration Giver
DanceAUS Group Pty Ltd is South Australia's largest dance school network in SA and is growing nationally!
We are searching for versatile dance teachers to join our growing South Australian teaching team. Successful applicants will be exceptionally dedicated, reliable and proven leaders who are positive and inspirational individuals.
This role will suit an individual with knowledge and understanding of working with children, expressive arts, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Ballet Fundamentals of Dance.
Lesson times are predominantly after-school-hours based. Applicants are required to be over the age of 18 years.
Two positions are available, (Adelaide Metro South) (Adelaide Metro General) commencing in October/November 2017.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include the following:
  • Instruction of dance lessons based upon commercial Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary Dance using Ballet fundamentals
  • Choreography for your assigned classes
  • Construction of own routines suitable for desired age groups
  • Choice of suitable music for all lessons (with management approval)
  • Production management of shows & performances
  • Liaising with students & parents
  • Circulating promotional / parent information notices
  • Management of attendance and student software
  • Regular management of crossover information with office administration staff
  • Reporting to the Director
  • Following the guidelines, class plans and teaching methods, included in the DanceAUS Group Team Manual
  • Adhering to safety policies, safe dance practice and procedures, included in the DanceAUS Group Team Manual
  • Modelling correct behaviour, presentation and teaching manner, as included in the DanceAUS Group Team Manual
As a successful applicant, you will have:
  • Current driver's licence and access to a vehicle
  • Prior experience working with children and youth
  • Proven customer service skills, with the ability to identify and address student and parent concerns
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and helpful nature  
  • The ability to prioritise your workload and manage your time effectively 
  • A meticulous eye for detail  
  • A willingness to work as part of an enthusiastic and motivated team 
  • A big heart and the drive to make a difference and empower children and youth
